Why the sunflower ball and benefit?
Since 2002, Betty Biodiesel has edcuated youth about renewable fuels, MC'd at festivals in NCA and loved every minute of it. Now it's time to take this organization to the next level. Based on the need to be better prepared for the future, our youth and the generations of the future would benefit from ecological awareness programs being offered in schools.
The following are the next steps for the BBO:
1) Raise funds to send Betty Biodiesel into more schools, teaching in classrooms and assemblies for the entire school. Starting with Oahu (I am going there for two months on April 13th).
2) Raise funds to create the kind of curriculum that can be taught through DVD's, the Web and through educators.
3) Raise funds to hire more amazing eco superhero characters like, Sistah Solar, Eco Fairie, Green Power Girl, etc.
In spirit of ecological awareness in our youth!
